Digest for the R5 pass (Ep1 rev 5; Ep2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12 seeds). Grades: A primary, B several independent secondary, C single or disputed, D commentary, U not searched. Each line is tagged literal (traces to a source here) or metaphor (drawable; states no false fact).

Findings

| # | claim | grade | source | tag |

|---|---|---|---|---|

| 1 | Musk used the phrase "suicidal empathy" on a Joe Rogan episode in Feb 2025, crediting Gad Saad, and framed empathy as something that can be exploited ("empathy for civilization as a whole") | B | Yahoo fact-check on the quote; Mother Jones; Robert Reich's Substack reply; Jewish Journal (Saad's book on the phrase, May 2026) | literal |

| 2 | A flying-Roadster demo was reported on Oct 16, 2026 at a SpaceX test site: driverless, air jets and tanks, a 2028 production target; CNN notes real flight for an owner who also drives fast on roads is unproven | B | ABC30 and KSL, carrying the CNN report; no official release seen | literal |

| 3 | The "shape store" pattern in the internal meme study: surreal found footage, a controversial element, a product tie-in; controversy -> discourse -> distribution | C | internal/work/MEME-STUDY-PROVOCATIVE-ART.md (KB-side) | literal |

| 4 | Crack and powder cocaine sentencing disparity (100:1, later reduced to 18:1) | U | from memory, not searched | not used on screen; never stated in the show |

| 5 | "The number needs a face": after financial crises far-right vote shares rise (Funke, Schularick, Trebesch, 20 economies, 140 years) | B | meme-vibes piece 06 and its register (F-rows) | literal |

Where each enters the show (shown, never said)

• Row 1 -> the room's yell (CRAFT-RULES: "the room yells") answered by the Listener's wrap; Ep2's Empathy Certified badge and the flock. No character argues the phrase.
• Row 2 -> a composite vehicle in the tower window (Ep1 board_task_force), agenda item seven, Ep3 and Ep10; no real brand, no real person, never mentioned.
• Row 3 -> the gice store (Ep1 spot 2, Ep2, Ep3): the shape sold without the thing.
• Row 4 -> not used. Rule 78 makes the same point with the grade card, with the wearer out of frame.
• Row 5 -> the blank, unfaced row (Ep5 page 847, Ep9 estate ledger, Ep11 appraiser's ledger).

Method notes

• Metaphor lines are tagged and kept beside their literal ground. The flock, gold and gray lines are metaphor.
• Aim at the market or the machine. Real brands and people stay composites.
