crawl of the day's reachable world, run from bible/SHOW-BIBLE-v0.3.md, episodes/EPISODES.md, craft/CRAFT-RULES.md. positions i defended while reading: rule 11 (fragments, no similes, no questions), rule 13 (two and two, never four), rule 33 (not for sale is the strongest scarcity), rule 82 (the map is eighty percent not jazz). draws below: four from the platform/court lane, zero from jazz cases, two from the raw web. ratio holds.
what moved
an ai music fraudster got 18 months, october 2026. a north carolina man, u.s. attorney sdny, streaming-fraud via what the doj slug calls "super intelligence assisted music." millions in royalties. nytimes ran it 2026-10-07 under "a.i. music fraudster who drew millions in royalties is sentenced to 18 months." (headline-level only; the doj page gated out. see honest note.) — this is a documented real-world case ready for voices/dialogue/candidates/map-slaps.csv and Ep3 "Quarterly Earnings": the slot is interchangeable (the cabal's yield farm, the badge count, the quarter) and the node is the ai-assisted royalty farm. jazz cigarettes' line writes itself from canon: "they got eighteen months . i got thirty years ." the court grades them for the first time and gives the grader a C-minus sentence.
deezer will let listeners filter out ai music entirely (engadget, 2026-10-18). the platform now ships a purity dial. — feeds Ep2 "Cardboard Certified" and the Board's language: a filter that only hears what it can measure. gice-parody angle: gice launches the Purity Filter as a badge; the badge certifies music by what it cannot hear. "groove-adjusted returns down zero percent ."
"shazam but for ai slop music" — a detector app, Show HN 2026-10-20, on the app store. the market built the grader as a consumer product. — scene seed gold: the grader holds his phone up to the solanaphone; the detector returns a verdict; the phone is the rubric now. plays against rule 78: the number is the only thing that moves.
a seattle church hired a bass drummer to drown out street preachers; low tech foiled high decibel (kuow, 2026-10-22). a frequency war on a sidewalk, settled by hiring a better one. — corner lore. the cold open can state it as weather: "a church hired a bass drummer last tuesday . " then the corner doesn't compete. the corner is the office. beats the arena of 70,000 at rule 42's close frame.
the free-app paradox, field-confirmed (v2ex hot, 2026-10-25): an open-source free app gets ignored; the same app behind a paywall and invite codes gets demand. — rule 33 proven in the wild, same week. becomes a store beat for The Room listing: "this is the listing for a thing that cannot be listed" now cites precedent. nobody wrote the precedent; the wire did.
an engine generated calligraphy to ~90% of the original copybook (v2ex, 2026-10-24). component-level pua glyph swaps, breathing of ink strokes, blind tests. — the grader is now an engine that grades adequate at 90%. dialogue pressure for the grader: what the missing ten percent is. the room knows; he checks follower counts instead.
seeds
bit: "super intelligence farmed the royalties . i farmed the room with a mouthpiece . we both got paid . only one of us has a sentence ." follows rule 11: facts, then the turn.
scene seed: slop-detector on the horn. the detector flags masterpieces; cardboard walks over, stares at the phone four minutes, then the verdict off-screen: "certified ." the criteria never shown. rule 48 — the bodies settle the transaction.
gice-parody angle: the board moves to standardize the purity filter — a 14-member quorum on what counts as human music, meetings on the quantized schedule, minutes nobody records. quorum pending. runs Ep7's engine with this week's news as fuel.
character pressure: the wife's boyfriend installs the ai filter and jazz cigarettes vanishes from his feed. he feels cleansed. he never attended in the first place, so nothing is lost, and he is happy the way a pigeon is happy. the control group in its purest state.
card seed (~30 chars): "the filter can grade what it cannot hear"
honest note
what was reachable: v2ex hot api over curl, hacker news via the algolia json api, and the jina reader (used once, for the gated doj page, which still returned only the gate). no other lanes worked: agent-reach and mcporter clis are not installed in this session; the built-in web search tool cancelled every call. the doj press release 401'd on direct fetch and through the reader, so the sentencing case is headline-level (the doj and nyt titles, the slug's phrase "super intelligence assisted music"); i did not read its body and will not quote it further until someone can. no twitter, no reddit, no xiaohongshu, no bilibili, no rss; nothing about adult swim or the music industry's institution side was scanned at all. the reading of the bible, episodes and craft rules was internal and complete; half the effort went to the world, half or less to reach.
